Hey friends! We are so excited to have you join us for our 2nd annual Christmas Craft Exchange! This particular one works a bit differently from our normal seasonal exchanges. This time around you will collect (or use what you’ve collected through the year) nature items and get your Christmas craft on! You could include a handmade ornament, a wreath, candle, really the possibilities are endless. Visit our Pinterest Boards or our IG hashtags #naturepalexchangecrafts #npechristmas for some inspiration from last years Christmas exchange.
As usual, we pair you up with a family in a different area and with similar aged children if we can. Please remember, this does take a bit of time on our part. Once we close sign ups, it will take up to 2 weeks to have your pal info emailed out to you. (Don’t forget to check your email for your pal info and look in that spam box!) While you’re waiting for your pal’s info, use that time to collect nature finds and have fun crafting! This is an awesome opportunity for you to lead your children in activity that allows them to bless another family with their talents and abilities. Please have your boxes prepared and mailed by December 12 to make it to your pal by Christmas. For some, this time of year can be hectic, so if you think this deadline might be a problem, we ask that you sit this round out. We promise there will be future rounds just like this one.
We are only open to families (U.S. & Canadian residents only) with children living at home. Remember this is an educational program geared towards families exploring and “meeting” new friends who live in another part of the country! As fun as it may seem for a class/teacher/nature group to sign up we ask that you do not at this time. Our next group exchange will be in the spring.
If you choose to participate you are only required to send 1 box this round. For important information on mailing guidelines please visit our About Page.
To participate there is a $5 sign-up fee paid directly to NPE via Paypal. The heart of Nature Pal Exchange is to give, so with each exchange we feature a charity near to our hearts and donate a portion of the funds. For this round, we are supporting The Archibald Project . The Archibald Project is an orphan care advocacy organization. They use media to tell stories. These stories advocated for orphans, educate on orphan care, build community, and inspire people into action. Please visit their site to learn more about this incredible organization.
Since it’s just about Christmas time…we want to bless our participants with something super fun! Once you have paid and registered for this exchange, you will receive not one but TWO downloadable one-of-a-kind NPE Winter Coloring sheets! The fun doesn’t stop there though!!! We invite all the participating kids in your home to enter our #npewinter_colorforswag coloring contest. Once your child completes one or both of the coloring sheets, post the finished masterpiece on IG and tag it with the #npewinter_colorforswag (each child in your household can have up to two entries). If you do not have an IG account, email a photo of your child’s completed sheet to firstname.lastname@example.org or tag us in an FB photo. We will choose 3 winners from different households to receive custom Nature Pal Exchange swag and we will send each winner our fun new Winter Travel Mug.
If you have any questions we ask that you would please contact us at email@example.com
